Hi, I’m Dwight “Boo” Dautreuil, owner of Louisiana Electrical & A/C Service.

I’ve lived right here in this community my entire life, except for the years I proudly served in the U.S. Navy. This place has always been home to me and my family. I’ve been married for 38 years, have two adult children, and two wonderful grandsons who keep us smiling and active. If we’re not working, you’ll probably find us cheering at Little League games or riding bikes around the park.

After getting laid off in 2020, I had to figure out what was next. I’ve never been the type to sit still, and that moment pushed me to take a leap of faith. Starting this business felt like the right opportunity to stay busy, build something meaningful, and create something I could one day pass on to my family.

At Louisiana Electrical & A/C Service, we provide Electrical, Heating & Cooling, and Generator services for our neighbors. But more than that, we stand for honest workmanship, fair pricing, and giving customers real choices. We don’t believe in pressure or scare tactics—just transparency and doing what’s right.

One moment that really sticks with me is helping a customer whose A/C had been written off by two other companies. She was told replacement was the only option, but she simply couldn’t afford it. We took the time to properly diagnose the issue and were able to safely extend the life of her system, giving her reliable comfort when she needed it most. Moments like that are why we do what we do.

Our promise is simple: we’ll be honest and upfront, and we’ll treat your home like it’s our own.

Our dream is to continue growing this company while building strong, lasting relationships within the community that supports us. And as we grow, we hope to one day give back and help those in need; because this business isn’t just about service calls, it’s about people.
